After yesterday’s close we got a good earnings report from Google and a not so good report from Tesla. Both stocks acted accordingly. As for today’s action, the Nasdaq and the S&P were able to produce gains for the session while the Dow struggled. IBM, United Healthcare and Honeywell, all Dow components fumbled the ball and pushed the index lower for the day.

By the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 316 points to finish the day at 44,693. The S&P 500 was up 4 points to close at 6,363. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 37 points to close at 21,057. Gold was down $22 to trade at $3,375 per ounce, while oil was up $.99 to trade at $66.24 per barrel WTI.

I hope you saw my earlier email regarding our review of the Big Beautiful Bill. Make sure you check that out if you haven’t yet had the chance to do so. In the meantime, let’s see how the week finishes out tomorrow.

Have a nice evening everyone.
