Things started off ok, but as the trading session wore on the stock market deteriorated. Leading the way lower was the Nasdaq, down more than 2%, as worries about AI and tech in general continue. Oil prices over $100 per barrel doesn’t help either.

For the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 175 points to close at 52,002. The S&P 500 was down 84 points to close at 7,659. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 572 points to close at 26,140. Gold was up $20 to trade at $4,190 per ounce, while the aforementioned oil was up $3.29 to trade at $101.26 per barrel WTI.

Before I sign off for the week, I want to share a recent interview that Hunter and Mike gave to Community Impact. In it they discuss the key steps to financial planning including important considerations for building a thoughtful financial plan and preparing for the future. You can find the full interview in the link below. Let us know what you think.

In the meantime, let’s get ready for a plethora of earnings coming the next couple of weeks.

Have a great weekend everyone.
