Jim Carlton

Jim began his career as a financial consultant at Merril Lynch more than 40 years ago. He continued his career with Stifel before becoming chief investment officer at Clayton Asset Management and Clayton Equity Partners hedge fund. He joined Sterling Bank in Houston in 2001 and eventually became Senior Vice President and Manager of Sterling Bank’s Private Client Services. He and his team launched CHJ Wealth Management in The Woodlands, Texas in 2010 where he is the Managing Director. 

Jim enjoys playing golf with his wife Florence and loves being able to spend time with his kids and grandkids whenever possible.
